yasoon at Jira Day 2022

Deviniti launched Jira Day for the first time in 2013. Since then, it became a unique event series for the Atlassian community.

This year we took part as sponsor and enjoyed the in-person community event in Warsaw to share Jira discoveries, insight sessions, and keynote speeches. We learned a lot about app integrations, custom development, migrations, merging, and more.

Visitors were kept busy with more than 60 presentations of well selected content in three tracks (business, technology, demo). Deviniti also introduced an open mic panel discussion featuring their CEO Piotr Dorosz, Atlassian’s Agnieszka Walczak-Karbowska PSPO2, Ronald Oreel from Mendix, and Arne Weiner from BCG Platinion.

After giving two speeches ourselves, we enjoyed listening to the talks of our partners, as well.

  • “Elevating the power of Jira and surpassing customer expectations” by Shreya Billore from Decadis. Shreya demonstrated how to establish a powerful sync between distributed teams working in Jira. In her talk, she showed us how to seamlessly connect with different platforms and perform actions from the Jira interface. Thank you for this hands-on demonstration!
  • “3 simple steps to keeping your Confluence content valuable” by Robert Mayer from K15t. Creating content is one thing, but organizing content neatly is another. Working with Confluence, you don’t want to be overwhelmed by your own content. Robert shared with us, how to work “orderly”, to keep a sensible content structure, educate your team, and share simple methods to refine content on a regular basis.
  • “How to set up a multilingual JSM so every agent can make any customer happy” by Björn Döhler from re:solution. Communication is key, and we don’t want to get lost in translation. Especially, in ITSM it is important to be well understood. That is why localizing customer conversations in JSM can be a big improvement: In Björns talk we learned how to assign work to the right service agents, build powerful JQLs for language based queues, reports, and SLAs.

Of course, it was a big-time party with incredible partners, too 😊 Thanks to all attendees to our business and demo sessions and everybody who stopped by our booth. It was exciting to discuss use cases directly and to exchange ideas about everything Jira related. So, to sum it up, we very much enjoyed this exquisite Atlassian-related conference in Warsaw and can’t wait for the 11th edition of Jira Day.
